How to play :

- Click and drag your mouse or your finger from node to node to draw closed shapes
- Only perfect polygons (equilateral triangle, diamonds with four equals sides and perfect hexagons) will register as valid and count toward progressing to the next level
- Alt-F4 to quit the game (if you downloaded the game on Windows)

"A game about finding and drawing colorful shapes from a grid"

I was picturing a grid in my mind and had the sudden urge to try and imagine a way for this grid to be the environment of a game. 

After playing around with different configurations of dots placed in a grid-like arrangement, I discovered that a lot of fun could be had by linking the dots together to create shapes of all kinds. By selecting a particular arrangement of dots, some shapes that could be drawn from their connections had the quality of perfect polygons, with all sides of equal length. This mathematical phenomenon became the basis from the main loop of the game : 

Connect dots -> draw shapes -> get rewarded if the shapes are perfect polygons. 

This sort of emergent design is very satisfying to me, and is one of the main reasons I practice minimalist game design. I had no idea a game was actually hidden beneath the mathematical properties of dots arranged on a grid. By following my intuition and by focusing the scope of the experience to very limited mechanics, a game naturally flowed from a very basic system of rules and provided gameplay that is satisfying, engaging and rewarding.
